Smoke gets in your eyes

The lava rocks on Rangitoto Island soak up the heat then release steam after the rain.

Orchid

I was going through my collection of photos and came a cross a series of orchids taken at the Tropical Centre (Botanic Gardens in Sydney) , all shapes, sizes and colors. Yet, the photo I preferred was in black and white.

Secluded spot

Located in the Freycinet National Park on the East coast of the island, Wineglass Bay is one of Tasmania's most famous spots. It was once voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world by a US magazine, and on a sunnier day the view is truly breathtaking. Want to feel the sand between your feet? Take a dip in these pristine waters? Well, you will have to walk from the visitor centre for about 1 1/2 hours and a few hundred rough bush steps to get there. Because it's worth it.
