Feeling tiny

A dream came true when I saw Wave Rock. Its size is quite impressive and so are the colours. A beautiful memory.

Untitled

My mind went blank when trying to find a title, so I chose the easy option and called it "Untitled" :) I took this photo - one of my favourites - during a scenic flight over Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps.

Hyde Park

I walk through Hyde Park pretty much everyday as I go to work/downtown. It is one of my favourite parts of the city, a peaceful spot in the middle of the concrete jungle.

The Brisbane series - Episode 6

Last time I was in Brisbane I didn't notice that they were building the Kurilpa Bridge. It will be a pedestrian and bicycle bridge linking the city centre and South Brisbane. This is what the finished product will look like:

Completion is scheduled for September 2009, in time for Queensland's 150th year anniversary celebrations. I've already planned to go to back to Brisbane around this time and I can't wait to walk on this new bridge!

The Brisbane series - Episode 3

This is an aerial view of the South Bank, a very pleasant area to walk around, with its cafes, restaurants, the Grand Arbour, Brisbane's own fake beach (see the blue patch amongst the trees?) and a pretty cool market. How did I manage to get this shot? Come back tomorrow and you will find out.
