The Brisbane Series - Episode 2

The reason why I went to Brisbane? Rugby! The local team, Queensland Reds, was up against a NZ-based team, the Waikato Chiefs. The Reds lost 26-50 and judging by the score you can tell it was try fest and very entertaining.

Here's an interesting piece of trivia: up until the 1910s the area was a burial ground!

The Brisbane series - Episode 1

This week the posts will be dedicated to Brisbane where I've just spent the weekend. After Sydney, I think it is my favourite city in Australia and this week I will show you more of it.

This is Brisbane Square, in the heart of the city. I like the unusual architecture of this building, the colours, and the reflection of the clouds at the top of it.

Not the most scenic landscape but I love the stillness of the water and the boats reflected in it.
