Working men




Footsteps in Time is the name of this sculpture group unveiled in October 2004 near the St Martins Centre, 40-50 St Georges Terrace in Perth. It commemorates the 175th Anniversary of Western Australia and symbolises the people who have built the CBD.

St Martins Centre occupies the site of the first businessman's club of WA, this public artwork recognises their involvement in significant historical moments during Perth's development.

2. Anglo-Celtic settlement of Swan River, 1829
3. Discovery of gold, 1885-95
4. Post World War II European immigration, 1945-55
5. The Millenium Man, 2004

Very Burghers of Calais, I like it. Bron's ancestor's were Dutchies who founded Kalgoorlie I think it was.
